Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Intentional Sparkle Cleaning. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clear communication and a positive experience for both our clients and our business.
1. Services
Intentional Sparkle Cleaning provides residential cleaning services as agreed upon at the time of booking. Service details, pricing, and scope of work will be discussed and confirmed before each appointment.
Additional cleaning requests outside the agreed scope of work may require additional time and charges.
2. Cleaning Estimates
All quotes and estimates are based on the information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may be adjusted if the home's size, condition, level of buildup, or requested services differ from the original description. Any pricing adjustments will be communicated and approved before additional work is performed.
3. Initial Deep Clean Requirement
Homes that have not been professionally cleaned on a regular basis or require significant attention may require an initial deep cleaning before recurring maintenance services can begin.
4. Access to the Home
Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property on the scheduled cleaning date.
If you will not be home during the cleaning, please ensure arrangements are made for entry (key, lockbox, garage code, etc.). If we are unable to access the property upon arrival, a lockout fee or cancellation fee may apply.
5. Scheduling & Arrival Times
We strive to arrive within the scheduled appointment window. However, arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, previous appointments, or unforeseen circumstances.
We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.
6. Utility Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring that running water and electricity are available during the scheduled cleaning appointment. If utilities are unavailable, service may be delayed, canceled, or subject to a cancellation fee.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
We reserve the right to charge late fees for unpaid balances. Returned payments or declined transactions may be subject to additional fees.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change.
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments.
9. Recurring Service Pricing
Recurring cleaning rates are based on maintaining the home at the agreed service frequency. If appointments are skipped, postponed for an extended period, or the home's condition changes significantly, pricing may be adjusted accordingly.
10. Pets
We love pets and are happy to clean homes with furry family members.
For everyone's safety, clients are responsible for securing pets that may become anxious, aggressive, or interfere with the cleaning process. Intentional Sparkle Cleaning reserves the right to discontinue service if a pet creates an unsafe working environment.
11. Excessive Clutter
For the best cleaning results, clients are encouraged to pick up personal items, clothing, toys, and other clutter before their appointment. Excessive clutter may limit the areas that can be cleaned and may require additional time and charges.
12. Safety & Working Conditions
For safety reasons, we do not:

Lift extremely heavy items.

Move large furniture or appliances.

Clean areas that pose safety hazards.

Handle biohazard materials, mold remediation, pest infestations, human or animal waste, or hazardous substances.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe.
13. Service Limitations
To protect both the client and Intentional Sparkle Cleaning, we do not provide the following services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing:

Mold remediation

Biohazard cleanup
-
Hoarding cleanup
-
Pest or insect removal
-
Human or animal waste cleanup
-
Exterior window cleaning above ground level

Heavy lifting of furniture or appliances

Cleaning of areas that present a safety hazard
14. Right to Refuse Service
Intentional Sparkle Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsanitary, or in situations involving aggressive pets, harassment, threatening behavior, illegal activity, or any circumstance that may compromise the safety of the cleaner.
15. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is important to us.
If you are not satisfied with any area cleaned, please notify us within 24 hours of your service appointment. We will make reasonable efforts to address any concerns and, when appropriate, return to correct missed areas.
16. Damage & Liability
While every effort is made to treat your home and belongings with care, accidents can occasionally occur.
Any claims regarding damage or breakage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Intentional Sparkle Cleaning is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage.

Normal wear and tear.
-
Items that are improperly secured.
-
Damage resulting from faulty fixtures, unstable furniture, loose wall hangings, or improperly installed items.
Any approved claims will be handled in accordance with our insurance coverage and policy limitations.
17. Breakage & Accidental Damage
Normal cleaning activities may occasionally reveal pre-existing damage or weaknesses in items, fixtures, furniture, flooring, countertops, or other surfaces. Intentional Sparkle Cleaning is not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, deteriorated materials, faulty fixtures, loose wall hangings, unstable furniture, or items that are not adequately secured.
18. Valuables
We recommend securing cash, jewelry, collectibles, heirlooms, firearms, important documents, and other valuable or irreplaceable items before your scheduled cleaning appointment.
19. Photography
Intentional Sparkle Cleaning may occasionally take before-and-after photos for quality control, training, or marketing purposes. Personal information and identifying details will not be shared without permission.
Clients may request that no photographs be taken.
20. Weather & Emergency Conditions
In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, appointments may be rescheduled. We will make every effort to notify clients as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment date.
21. Website Information
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep all information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or availability.
Pricing, service offerings, and policies may change without notice.
22. Privacy
Any personal information collected through contact forms, estimate requests, or booking inquiries will be used solely for communication, scheduling, and service-related purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as required by law.

Intentional Sparkle Cleaning reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
